Laura and Pietre set me up with Rod and I had a really good time talking to him that night, and on subsequent dates. I was so flattered and pleased that our two double-date gurus chose such an all-around great guy for me to date...until Rod left the table for a minute and Pietre whispered, "We thought you'd be a good couple because you're both tall." To paraphrase Travis Birkenstock, I gave our double date two thumbs up -- fine holiday fun."
